Join Us 

 Diverse Representation hosts a monthly lunch series featuring African-American owned production companies. This month we are featuring Issa Rae Productions. Join us for an intimate lunch with Montrel McKay, President of Development and Production for Issa Rae Productions. He will discuss the company's current projects as well as collaboration opportunities. The lunch will also provide an opportunity for guests to ask questions.  


Open to agents, attorneys, managers, publicists, financial advisors, executives and assistants.

Issa Rae Productions  

Montrel McKay currently serves as the President of Development & Production at Issa Rae Productions. In this role McKay manages and oversees the content slate for the company in both television and feature film.


McKay began his entertainment career at talent agency WME’s Global Finance and Distribution group (now Endeavor Content). While at WME, he helped to establish non-traditional content distribution strategies for the agency’s clients and managed third party partnerships across multiple content verticals, specifically focusing on direct to consumer entertainment releases.


McKay graduated from Morehouse College in 2005 and earned his JD at Harvard Law School in 2008.

Diverse Representation is a new platform aimed at increasing the exposure and number of African-American agents, attorneys, managers, publicists and financial advisors working in the entertainment industry.
